I had the awesome opportunity this month to shoot the wedding of Matt’s best friend, Brad.  Matt and Brad grew up together, and have been best friends for almost their entire lives!  I have also been friends with Brad for a long time, and have prayed for him to find an amazing, Godly woman to spend his life with.  Matt and I were so excited when Brad told us about Sharon.  We knew something was different about her just by the way Brad shined when he talked about her!  She is such a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit – kind and loving and just awesome!  I’m so happy for my friend!

This is the first time I have ever shot a wedding.  I was SO NERVOUS!  I think I got some good photos though, and I had a lot of fun doing it!  Below are some of my favorites.  If you’d like to view the whole set, you can click here to go to Flickr.

Matt and I went to Decatur, IL a couple weeks ago to visit his grandparents.  Matt’s parents and sister and her kids came along too, and I decided we needed to take the kids out to play (so I could snap pictures in the beautiful light!).  I got some great shots!  Clarissa (the youngest – almost 3) is always great about letting me take her picture, but the older two can be real stinkers when I get my camera out!  Well, there must have been something in the air that day, because Tayla (15) let me take lots of pictures of her!  I got some amazing shots – she’s so beautiful!  Damon (12) was even willing to pose for a few – after I promised to give him a dollar!  🙂  Here are my favorites
